The 2026 IAHLA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference will be taking place on October 22 and 23, 2026, at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront in Vancouver.
The event will connect educators and administrators from IAHLA member institutes across British Columbia and provide opportunities for IAHLA member institutes to engage in workshops and professional development opportunities.
The Call for Workshop Proposals is now open. This year’s conference theme is Honouring Our Land Through Higher Learning. IAHLA welcomes workshop applications that demonstrate the work being done by First Nations adult and post-secondary institutes to implement land-based learning in higher education.
The workshops’ duration will be 1 hour and will be presented once. Please see this document for more information about the Call for Workshops including the workshop application form.
You can also access the form using the button below.
Please note that workshop applications are due by August 14, 2026.
More details about the event including an agenda and registration guide will be shared in the coming weeks.
