To support our member institutes in building their capacity to effectively serve students in the area of virtual learning, IAHLA is hosting webinars on tools, strategies and leading practices for effective virtual learning through Zoom. Lara-Lisa Condello, a faculty member with the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology will lead the webinar presentation on the following themes.

  • Features and benefits of different learning management systems and platforms.
  • Tools for creating an effective virtual learning environment through Zoom.
  • Addressing challenges related to virtual learning and creating a supportive, inclusive and effective virtual learning environment.
  • Conducting effective informal and formal assessments of students.

IAHLA Member institute authorized representatives and staff are eligible to attend and registration links follow.
