New Community Teacher-education programs September 15, 2025 The Province, in partnership with the First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC) and the Indigenous Adult and Higher Learning Association (IAHLA), is supporting the development of First Nations-led community-based teacher-education programs to address the significant shortage of First Nations teachers in the province.
